COUNT

This mode counts the number of labels within the inspection window. (One label = one cluster of binary-converted pixels) Regardless of the area of an individual label, a single cluster is counted as one.

Using COUNT

Area Filter

By setting the upper and lower limits, the area range of labels to be counted can be set. This function is used to ignore noise components, small flaws, or minute workpieces in the image. For example, when setting the upper limit (H) to "1000" and the lower one (L) to "100" in the figure shown above, only the labels with an area between 100 and 1000 pixels are counted.
