Binarization Application Examples

Counting the Number of Workpieces
Counting ball bearings   The number of areas of common binary shade within the window are both counted. This is an effective inspection technique for checking the quantity of workpieces.
Measurement of Gravity Point
Measuing the gravity point   The center of gravity point and principal axis angle of the binarized objects within the window are measured. This is an effective technique for measuring the alignment mark or when there are various types of alignment marks depending on the object.
Measurement of Area
Measurement of area By setting a window on the inspection area, the number of binarized pixels (area) within this window is measured. This is an effective inspection mode when checking the presence, size, or area of the workpiece.
