Testimonials from Customers after Trying Our Microscope

Customers in a wide range of industries have reduced costs and improved quality with the help of the fast, accurate observations made by KEYENCE digital microscopes

Research and Development Department

Chemical Manufacturer/Engineering Laboratory

Chemicals
Streamlined pre-processing has cut image capture time by 90%, greatly reducing research time.
Previously we used conventional microscopes to complete most of our day to day tasks, such as observing chemical mixtures and inspecting sections of sheet material. One problem with conventional microscopes is they require much more product preparation than a digital microscope. Due to flexible features such as a large depth of field and angle adjustability, digital microscopes allow us to prepare and observe our targets in nearly 1/10 the time of the conventional microscopes. With the increase in speed we can observe more parts in the same time period and quickly analyze research data.

Higher image quality in 1/4 of the time, all for a fraction of the cost of our previous system.
We use microscope technology to inspect for product defects and catalog images of the defective products. Conventional microscopes required us to train specialized operators who would inspect the parts and take Polaroid® pictures for our records. Digital microscopes are so easy to use that they eliminate the need for specialized operators, creating a time savings of over 12 hours a month and reducing our total costs to 1/8 of the conventional microscopes.

Renewed customer confidence and fewer complaints
Customer complaints regarding unfair repair charges have been reduced. Since taking pictures with a digital microscope is incredibly easy, we can attach a picture to the repair report. Customers can use the picture as a reference and easily understand what the problem was and how it has been fixed. As a result, confidence in our repair department has been restored and customer satisfaction has increased.
