Unlike optical microscopes, with KEYENCE's digital microscope the target does not always need to be placed on a stage. You can observe a sample simply by pointing the lens toward the target point. Even a large target can be observed quickly, and just the way it is. It eliminates the need for disassembling, cutting or processing the target. With optical microscopes, the target must be disassembled or cut before it is set on the stage.
