Zero adjustment (range)
Zero adjustment shifts the actual output voltage (shown as a solid line) in either the positive or negative direction. It is called zero adjustment because it is mainly used for applications where measurement is displayed relative to 0 V preset with a reference target. The range where zero adjustment is possible is called the zero adjustment range.
Zero-suppress system
The display system deletes unnecessary
0s in the upper digits so that the
displayed value can be easily read.
ΔΣ Method
ΔΣ (delta-sigma) method is the latest A/D conversion method developed for achieving more accurate conversion. Major features of this method are the decreased influence of line noise and high accuracy of measurement compared with conventional A/D conversion methods (sequential conversion method or flash conversion method). This method is generally used in recorders.
