V

V.S.S. (Voltage Scanning Search) method

Voltage is applied by degrees within a certain range to the surface potential sensor embedded in the SK sensor head. The SK series internally calculates the point at which the potential difference between the surface potential sensor and the target becomes 0 V. This is called the V.S.S. method. The V.S.S. method provides accurate measurement of the target’s surface potential without applying high voltage, which is equivalent to the static charge of the target, to the surface potential sensor.
