Inhibit input (INH)
A control input to inhibit unnecessary input pulses from being counted. While the INH signal is ON, any count input is ignored.
Inkjet Printer
When you hear "inkjet printer", you may think of the printer used with a personal computer. Although the method of printing by spraying an ink jet is the same, industrial inkjet printers use different inks in different applications in order to print characters directly on various industrial products during production.
Input Impedance
An output resistance value of analog voltage (current) output. This describes protective resistance of an output circuit. The value measured with the instrument is the voltage divided by the output's output impedance and the instrument's input impedance. Consequently, the larger input impedance enables measurement of a value closer to the true value.
Input Power Supply
The effective value of the input current.
Input Voltage and Frequency
The range of the input voltage and its frequency within which the specifications are guaranteed. For AC input, an effective value is used.
Inrush Current (Rush Current)
The current which flows at the instant when the input is applied. With a switching power supply, a large current, which is several ten to several hundred times greater than the normal input current, flows into the circuit. Such a large current is intended to charge a capacitor. The drawbacks are: the blowout of the fuses attached outside the power supply, the meltage of relays and switches, and the trip of no fuse breakers (NFB). Therefore, an inrush current protective circuit is provided to limit the inrush current.
Interlaced scanning
Scans the odd-numbered scan lines (odd field) first, then the even-numbered scan lines (even field). The picture area is scanned 60 times per second but because only half of the lines are scanned at one time, the total screen area, called the frame, is scanned at a frame rate of 30 frames per second.
Ion balance
The ion balance is the ability to maintain the equal concentration of positive and negative ions. If one of the ions is more concentrated, then static elimination is not completed properly or the target is charged with opposite polarity.
Isolation
Isolation of channels and the internal circuit from input stabilizes measured values by preventing fluctuations (variation, shift) in measured values caused by noise entering the internal circuit from the input unit or power supply.
ITF
ITF is an abbreviation for "Interleaved Two of Five". It is mainly used as a standard distribution code printed on corrugated cardboard cartons. One character (number) is expressed with 5 bars (spaces) among which two bars (spaces) are wide.
